Fishing vessel ’Lauren Jeanne’ was custom built for fishing the Dry Tortugas area and put into service at the beginning of May 2007. This vessel provides the ultimate in room, comfort, speed and overall fishing ability. At a fast cruising speed of 18 kts. she will get you to and from fishing grounds in a hurry. Less time running equals more time fishing. With a 22’ beam there is plenty of elbow room for all the anglers. This super wide beam also makes for a very stable and comfortable fishing platform and lessens the chance of becoming sea sick.

Winter and spring fishing can be excellent, however the weather can be unpredictable. Our favourite time of the year to fish is in summer and fall because the predominant calm seas allow us to cover more productive grounds and target the bigger fish. Generally, we catch more and bigger grouper during the cooler months, Nov. - April and more snapper when it is warmer, May - Oct. No matter what time of the year you plan on fishing down here, there is always a variety of gamefish to be had.
